They’ve just recently opened their doors in Pasadena, on Arroyo Parkway, and we’ll be popping up there Sunday, February 9th from 11am to 3pm (and weekly thereafter, regular times still to be determined)

Master bread baker and Master Food Preserver, Erik Knutzen, will be leading us in his genius rye bread making techniques, laying to rest those fears and inhibitions on making our favorite dark breads. We will also be joined by our friends Marissa and Lauren, of Bar & Garden who will offer tastes from a selection of their favorite micro- brews, while instructing on the nuance and flavors of craft beer.

Come alone or bring the kids to learn how to make the perfect donut from mother/ son pastry chef team, Clémence and Malcolm Gossett, of The Gourmandise School. From glazed to jelly filled, chocolate covered, lemon custard, apple fritter or a sweet donut hole, you will learn it all. While gleaning techniques and sampling their warm and sweet round perfections, Leo Li, our new friend, coffee guru and certified Q coffee grader, will lead us through the many methods of making the perfect cup of joe.
