An Auberge in the Luberon

  • Peter Fetterman Gallery Bergamot Station 2525 Michigan Ave, A1 Santa Monica, California 90404 (map)

Have you ever traveled to, or lived in, the real south of France?

Like the Luberon, where each village has a bakery, a café-tabac, and if lucky, a small Auberge where you can stay, play petonque, and eat royally with a demi-pension?

Come join Your Local Hive and pastry chef, Clemence Gossett, as she recreates a meal from her grandmother’s Auberge, outside of Apt, where she learned to cook every summer starting at the age of nine.

Come taste her famous tartes, both savory and sweet, and her grandmother’s signature,Ruche a l’Amandier, while testing your French speaking skills, as the evening unrolls in a franco/anglais kind of way, and Clemence will lead us, table side, in a demo of one of her favorite pastry creations!
